THE PURPOSE

Journaling with the Classics is a website devoted to encouraging a familiarity with classic literature by decorating each journal with excerpts and quotes from the volume of literature from which the journal has been derived, as well as to encourage the time-tested practice of sifting through thoughts with pen and paper. Whether using the journals for something associated with that novel, such as making notes in preparation for writing a paper, or just using it as another notebook in which to jot the odd information of life, these volumes have been created for you--for those who love literature and the feeling of a pen in a hand poised over real paper.
