How it works

On this website you will find illustrated notebooks created for journaling, taking notes, copying out meaningful passages for longterm personal reference, or just in general jotting odd thoughts. The STORE tab will take you to the section of the site reserved for the listing of the items available for sale. While no items are sold directly through this website, the online store (lulu.com) to which you will be redirected is a longtime platform for the sale of products produced by independent publishers. If you find something here you like, please keep checking back for new titles.

About us

We are several souls who possess a love for good books, great stories, and the well-disciplined practice of creating a connection between the mind and the pen. These illustrated notebooks are the result. We sincerely hope you enjoy them.

Products

Our products consist of a line of journals, or illustrated notebooks, derived from classic literature. In general, the artwork is accompanied by quotes and excerpts from the books they illustrated. All journals are offered in softcover, coil-bound, and hardback versions. Visit our storefront to view interior images of our products, and then click on the buttons below the product images to visit the online store from which our products can be purchased. If you find something you like, check back at intervals for new titles.

Please be aware that slight variation in colors is common in POD (Printing on Demand), but a great effort has been made to produce a final product that will still appeal regardless of these variations. Also, please note that while all the material was derived from public domain sources, a great effort has been made to clean up the time-worn illustrations or to alter them to create a consistent tone and color for each notebook. Therefore, the illustrations should not be considered the artwork as originally intended by the artist, but we hope you will consider every journal as an homage to those who loved literature as we do.

We hope that nothing will detract from your looking pleasure at the freshly rendered illustrations from some of these favorite old-time volumes.
